Meet your therapists
We're two licensed therapists in California. Here's who we are, how we work, and why we do this.

Leona Esmaeily-Aimua
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
LMFT #142467
Hi, I'm Leona Esmaeily-Aimua, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #142467) with a master's degree from California Baptist University. I specialize in helping individuals and couples navigate anxiety, panic, trauma, depression, OCD, eating disorders, ADHD, and relationship challenges. Opening up about your struggles can feel overwhelming, especially if you come from a culture or family where emotions weren't openly discussed. My goal is to make therapy a safe and supportive space where you can finally speak freely, feel heard, and begin to heal.
A bit of my story
As a Middle Eastern woman, I grew up in an environment where expressing emotions wasn't encouraged. Happiness was celebrated, but sadness, fear, or vulnerability were often kept inside. Over time, I realized how this silence can disconnect us from ourselves and the people we love.
Through my own experience with anxiety, therapy became my turning point, it taught me the power of understanding, feeling, and healing. That journey inspired me to become a therapist and to help others especially those raised in similar cultures learn that it's okay to open up and that strength can be found in vulnerability.
My approach
I blend Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to meet clients with empathy, understanding, and no judgment, while giving them practical tools to manage life's challenges. Together, we'll uncover the roots of your struggles and develop personalized strategies to help you live a calmer, more balanced life.
Areas of focus
“Our wounds are often the openings into the best and most beautiful part of us.”

Daishea Poole
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
LMFT #142484
Hi, I'm Daishea, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #142484). I have almost a decade of experience providing support to teens, adults, and couples. I have worked with a wide array of disorders and life challenges, including, but not limited to, mood disorders such as anxiety and depression; trauma-related disorders such as PTSD and CPTSD; relationship or marital stress; existential crises or life transitions; and self-discovery. I am committed to helping people change their lives and learn how to find strength in vulnerability.
A bit of my story
Uplifting the community is one of the essential reasons we began this practice. As a Black woman, I know all too well the need for competent quality healthcare that you can trust in addressing your needs and treating them with compassion.
The work I am privileged to do is viewed as a labor of love back to the community I come from and in support of all other communities that are often marginalized. My hope is that whatever background you come from, through our work together, you feel it is respected, understood and honored throughout our therapeutic experience.
My approach
I use an existential-humanistic approach, which focuses on helping you uncover your own truths and the meanings behind them. Together, we'll explore your values, beliefs, and life experiences, empowering you to gain insight, clarity, and a deeper understanding of yourself.
Areas of focus
