About me

Hi, I’m Llaneh Garner, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I was drawn to becoming a therapist by a desire to help others feel heard, supported, and understood, especially during difficult seasons of life.

I especially enjoy working with children, teens, and families navigating anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, ADHD, trauma, and life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s needs. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, play, art, and practical coping tools to help clients express themselves and build confidence. I also enjoy partnering with parents to strengthen connection and support progress at home.

My goal is to create a welcoming space where you can be yourself, move at your own pace, and work toward meaningful change.

How I work

I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and actions connect. We may also use art, play, or coping tools when a different way of expressing yourself feels helpful. I’ll work with you to choose what fits your needs.

Areas of focus

What we can work on together

You don't need to know exactly what to call what you're experiencing before reaching out.

01

Anxiety

I work with you to understand the worries that have been difficult to manage. Together, we can look at the thoughts behind them and find ways to respond that feel helpful to you.

02

Emotional regulation

Strong feelings can be hard to explain. I help you find ways to recognize and express those feelings, so you can share what you need in a way that feels comfortable.

03

ADHD

I support you with the emotional challenges that can come with ADHD. Together, we can explore coping tools that fit your needs and build on what already helps you.

04

Trauma

I want you to feel supported as you talk about difficult experiences. We can begin with what you feel ready to share and take time with the parts that are harder to put into words.

05

Life transitions

Life changes can bring feelings you weren’t expecting. I’m here to support you as you adjust, with time to reflect on what you’re leaving behind and what you hope for next.

What you can expect

Room to move at your own pace.

I welcome your questions and thoughts about our work together. We can check in along the way about what feels helpful and adjust our focus as your needs change.
